“Inspired by the forgotten legacies of some of history’s most overlooked female artists, I wanted to portray women in acts of creation & contemplation.
January & February is the heart of deep winter — a time of introspection and the gathering of energies. Despite the notion that these months are reserved for hibernation, I imagined it rather as a warm, nascent space to germinate the seeds of creativity and the exuberant forces hatched in the Spring/Summer.”
